Terms of Service

The service

ZodHR provides ZodHR, a cloud HR, attendance, leave and payroll software service ("the Service"), to businesses ("Customers") on a subscription basis.

Accounts and licences

A subscription is sold as a number of licences. Each active employee record in your workspace uses one licence; offboarded employees do not.

You may add licences at any time; added licences are charged pro rata for the rest of the current term and renew with the subscription. Licence reductions and downgrades take effect at renewal.

The person who purchases the subscription becomes the workspace administrator and is responsible for the accounts they create.

Fees and taxes

Prices are in Indian Rupees and exclude GST, which is added at the applicable rate and shown on your tax invoice. Payments are processed by Cashfree Payments.

If a subscription is not renewed, the workspace enters a 7-day grace period and is then paused. Your data is retained and access is restored as soon as the subscription is renewed.

Your data

You own the data you put into the Service. We process it only to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy, and act as your data processor under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

You are responsible for having a lawful basis to process your employees’ personal data, including biometric attendance and location data, and for informing them about it.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service, attempt to access other customers’ data, or use it in breach of applicable law.

Availability and support

We aim to keep the Service available at all times except for planned maintenance, which we announce in advance where possible. Support is available at support@zodhr.com.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of the city of our registered office have exclusive jurisdiction.
