Who we are

ZodHR operates ZodHR. For employee data inside a customer workspace, the employer is the data fiduciary and we are their processor.

What we collect

Account details (name, work email, mobile number), company and billing details, and the HR records your employer maintains: profile, job, attendance, leave, payroll and documents.

Attendance punches from biometric devices (the device user ID and time, not fingerprint or face templates, which stay on the device), and your location at web check-in when your employer enables geofencing.

Technical logs (IP address, browser, actions taken) used for security and audit.

How we use it

To provide and secure the Service, process payments, send service emails, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

AI features

When you use Zod AI, your question and the data needed to answer it are processed by AI models we run on Microsoft Azure (Microsoft Foundry) to generate a response. This data is not used to train models. Your employer can turn AI features off.

Sharing

With service providers that host and run the Service (cloud hosting, email delivery, payment processing, and Microsoft Azure for AI), under contracts that protect the data, and where required by law.

Retention and your rights

Data is kept while your employer’s subscription is active and deleted on request after it ends. To access, correct or erase your data, contact your employer’s HR team or write to support@zodhr.com.
